The Craft Shop carries an eclectic variety of handmade crafts from local crafters, antiques, and educational material about the 30s, as well as, Arthurdale souvenirs.
Craft Shop Hours
The Craft Shop hours are the same as the New Deal Homestead Museum:
November 1-April 30: Tuesday-Friday, 12-4 p.m.
May 1-October 31: Tuesday-Sunday, 12-4 p.m.
Closed Mondays

Christmas Open House Hours
The Craft Shop will be open every Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas beginning with an open house from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 29. Other holiday hours are December 6, 13, and 20 from noon until 4 p.m. Items are made by West Virginia artisans. Items available are: Allegheny Treenware, pottery, jams & jellies, hard tack candy, peanut butter crunch, honey, soap, books, jewelry, afghans, handmade towels, tatted and crocheted items as well as many Christmas items. Also pick up an Arthurdale souvenir including the newest Cat’s Meow building, the Arthurdale Service Station. Regular operating hours are still in effect for the week: Tuesday-Friday, noon to 4 p.m.
