Description:  The book, “A New Deal for America” is a product of a conference by the same name held in 1994 as part of the 60^th anniversary celebration of Arthurdale.  The conference was sponsored by AHI and attracted a diverse national audience.  Historians, architects, and scholars joined residents to discuss the unique history of New Deal communities.  The book was copyrighted by Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. and edited by Bryan Ward.  It is a soft cover book, measuring 6” x 9” and contains 182 pages.

Description:  Arthurdale Blacksmith, Randy Summers, hand forges this beautiful leaf pendant necklace.  Made from a 3/8” round steel rod, it is uniquely designed and formed into a leaf approximately 3” long and then it is strung on a 22” long black cord.  Randy makes these exclusively for Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. and until now could only be purchased at our Craft Shop.  Each has it’s own individual characteristics, much like those in nature.
