Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. and the Community

Arthurdale Heritage, Inc. (AHI) was founded to preserve and restore the history of Arthurdale. This could not have been started and cannot be continued without the help of many of the current residents of the Arthurdale community.  Arthurdale itself was designed with community involvement in mind.  The Center Hall was used as a meeting place, community dinners, community dances, and for a time, as the local church.  Today, AHI, utilizes the restored Center Hall for many community events, meetings, festivals, dinners, and celebrations. AHI recognizes the need for increased community involvement, both on its part as well as on the part of the residents themselves.

AHI has developed quite a range of events that have been held in the Center Hall, including, but not limited to, a reading group, plays, dinners, painting classes, dance classes, sign language classes, marbles demonstration, lectures, Christmas Programs, and the Annual New Deal Festival (formerly Heritage Days).
The Center Hall is also available for rent to the public for meetings, receptions, and parties.
